So I've finished Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, and Point Lookout. Point Lookout was pathetic, Anchorage was ok, and The Pitt was probably the best of the three but don't think I could've got through the final bit without the tgm cheat ("toggle god mode"). Ah, cheats, where would I be without them. They're great when you've beaten the heck out of a game and you just want some fun.

Yesterday I reinstalled Fallout 3. Five years since I finished it, 2009! How time flies. I was itching to play something, it was a rainy day (great for plays) so Fallout it was. I also have the 4 DLCs (downloadable content) I haven't touched and got them a few years after completion, so today I'll install some of those.
I noticed the Take It Back! quest was open and so I went to the Citadel. However, 10 mins in I remembered I'd already done it 5 years ago - the Purified Water one - & finished the game but here it was again. I just couldn't be bothered. However, I've just read that to play the Broken Steel DLC I have to finish that quest (again) to continue on, because without BS you cannot wander the world after the game completes. Hopefully I'll find a cheat that works. So far none online work. My thoughts on the game years later is it's not as full on as I thought. My character is far less immersive than say in Skyrim. When I change the camera angle to swing around and see characters I'm talking to on quests, I turn around as well which is weird. Far more stiff. It's fun though revisiting lots of places I've forgotten about and I'll do the runaround before venturing on to the DLCs. Here you go, my Skyrim painting in ArtRage 4 of Hildegarde on Shadowmere, my gameplay. The armour is a mod. I added some preset grasses, mainly used oil brush, palette knife and ink pen, with 8 layers altogether. I used the trace function to pick up the colours. Took me around 6 hours.
